Two and a half Men - This was good.
Big Bang Theory was a little slow out of the gate, but hopefully it will get back in the swing of things.
The new show with Red Foreman, Worst Week - umm, yeah - that really sucked. It wasn't funny and when it tried to be funny, it was too predictable. Like, when you show off a fancy painting, you just know he's going to ruin it soon. Also the whole funeral home thing wasn't funny either. Next week I see he kills the birds with avocados. Groan!
Eureka finished up - it was awesome as always but had a nasty turn at the end. Hopefully they'll clear that up whenever they resume shows again - might not be until next summer? The New Adventures of Old Christine was funny - crazy funny. I suppose you'd either really like it or hate it and it's one of the ones we really enjoy. I started watching Knight Rider, but it didn't grab my attention yet so I put it off until later. I might not even have all of it since the president started his speech towards the end. We DVRd Bizarre Foods - I tried watching it, but I can't watch it on a full stomach or and empty one. Maybe in-between I can consider it. You've got to admit - he's got one heck of a set of tastebuds (or a lack of them). I spent some time catching up on Gardening by the Yard, which I have to say is one show I've watched over the years and always enjoy. Tonight is the Thursday lineup on NBC and tomorrow might or might not be the debates - we'll have to wait and see (It's like a cliffhanger!)
So, what are you watching this season?

I actually really enjoy home improvement because it improves your home (I think I heard George Bush say that - or was it Britney Spears?)
I just realized that I've spent the last few days/weeks taking pictures and posting them, but I haven't really explained anything about them. Here they are with some explanations:
1 - Mutant Oven Mitts - Were these designed for Sleestaks?
This is what you move to when your bulk laxative just isn't cutting it - unshelled almonds - Mmmm Mmmm!
3 - The picture doesn't do this justice, but here was a lady driving a pickup truck - and not one with extra seats or anything - just an old beat up truck - with six (count them SIX) little kids in it with her. They looked like popcorn bouncing around.
5 - We went to Lone Star last week for lunch. Our waiter seemed new. We were just about done with our meal and he walks up and says "Oh, I forgot to give you your peanuts when you came in!" I didn't know protocol - like can I ask for a to-go box and take all of them?
Cool - now I can check "recent photo updates" off my list.
So TV started last night - HOORAY! We watched The Big Bang Theory on CBS which was funny. We started watching Two an a Half Men until the DVR caught up with Heroes for a bit. Heroes is going to be super this season, but I was really surprised to see that the actor playing Nathan was replaced with Kenny Loggins:
I'm also glad that Ned Ryerson (Stephen Tobolowsky) gave up selling insurance to take on something more exciting - I wonder how he learned how to turn stuff into gold?

Sylar fails to impress me more each week. He has absolutely no ability to pick and choose powers. Now look at the fix he is in - he's going to be plagued with headaches for the next few weeks. What was that all about? If only he had the common sense in a thimble to say "Hmm... yeah, that's a nice power, but I don't think I really want that." instead, he's like:
Sylar "What can you do?"
New Guy "I have super human sinus drip."
Sylar "I'll take it"
[the next day]
Sylar "I need tissues."
Ugh. You should have thought of that. What's next, the ability for your eyes to pop out of your head on demand?
Jack Coleman, aka - Mr. Bennet - was on the View yesterday. As some of you in the know - know - he was on Dynasty years ago:
Now he doesn't seem as mysterious...
Another terrific episode!
Oh, man - did anyone else catch the license plate number on Hiro's dad's car?
NCC-1701
Now, that's awesome.
Heroes continues to be our favorite show each week. I don't recally any series that I've enjoyed watching this much. Here is my review of last night (from where I was sitting)...
First, we find David Banner in the middle of his startling metamorphosis. I like the eyebrows and the haircut. Sylar definitely looks better six months later than earlier.
Eden "You need a doughnut"
Matt "You need a hair cut"
"Oh, stop!"
Hal "Have you seen your sister lately?"
Peter "Hey, your wife is still walking"
Haitian "Next time I'm getting a real name"
Charlie "Thanks! I didn't know these were even available yet!"
Niki "Yes, I have"
Nathan "Ejection seat - CHECK!"
Peter "Never mind that - did the ejection seat work or what?"
Charlie "So origami is what you do with your eternity?"
Sylar "Wait - you forgot to put in the crystal."
Micah "Thanks! Now where is my screwdriver?"
Hal "How about just a hug instead?"
Claire "A lousy quarter? This is my entire allowance?"
Matt's wife "Honey, it's okay, really - maybe you should just set your goals lower?"
Nathan "I'm so stuck up looking... Hey - I should run for office!"
Hiro "No, just cramps. I'm sure it's nothing"
Sylar "Hmm... I wonder if he has any pocket protectors I can nab?"
Mr Bennett "Eden - you really, really need a haircut"
Chandra "Hey, waitress - this glass isn't going to fill itself up!"
Ando "I'm okay and..."
Okay - my exact words were "Holy Fraq!" - Talk about someone who is sure of their powers. Jamie and I mostly say "Oh, isn't she cute" everytime we see her on the show, and then the freaky Sylar walks up and she doesn't even flinch or break a sweat or anything, just layed back and says "You need to sleep". I love it - how Magneto can you get?
